• Have total control of the financial aspects of the Association, as a non-profit
• Consist of 80% principal importers, exporters, manufacturers and distributors
• The board will be proactively involved and engaged in the association management
• We will establish bylaws, protocols, and lines of accountability
To have a membership consisting of principal importers, exporters, manufacturers and distributors (80%) and service providers + other professionals (20%).
The trade association will have a primary focus on Long Island and the tri-state area and will reach out nationally, as deemed appropriate, as the group grows and expands.
We are currently hosting one webinar a month until it is safe again to have in-person events.

All participants receive NEI Accreditation from Washington, DC.
NIWT is set up and easily accessible with Zoom, WebEx and Microsoft Teams.
All sessions are interactive throughout.
We will run 1 Golf Outing in September to help raise vital funds for a charitable cause: SOLDIER ON AT Home: Dedicated to wounded combat veterans, PTSD Management and service dogs.
We will proactively align ourselves with numerous trade associations on LI and nationally to bring in resources and increase capabilities in our service portfolio and outreach.
NIWT is at the first stage of setting up a freight association, which can be extended to this new trade association.
